Okay.

So here's my costumes and progress:

Kyo Sohma: 95% complete (just waiting on wig arrival)
Phoenix Wright: 90% complete (need to buy a wig and make a DA badge)
Turk Reno: 90% complete (just need to buy a wig)
Tifa Lockheart: ...5% complete? (Waiting on wig arrival, outfit purchase pending)
Cloud Strife: 25% complete (waiting on wig arrival, need pants and var. other accessories)

DETAILS

Tifa's been the hardest. Since I'm unwilling to suffice with a FFVII-era Tifa outfit, I have to go with the all-pleather AC Tifa - and pleather is rather difficult to find in my local store/cheap/both. SO I'm planning on having my mom help take my measurements, and then send them to this nice little Ebay person that will make a Tifa outfit for me. Then I'll just need gloves...

Cloud is done enough to the point that I will be able to video him from the waist up soon. *laughs* His wig needs to come and I need to find a pair of black cargo pants to make into his. But I have his shirt thing, and will have the wig. I need the wolf emblem thing, his half-cape/skirt and arm thing, some belts, and of course - his sword.

Kyo, Reno, and Phoenix are all roughly in the same place - I need their hair. Kyo's more ahead of the others as I've purchased a wig for Kyo, and it will be mailed sometime soon. I've owned Kyo's bracelet for some time now, and have brown contacts. So I'm all set for that. Reno and Phoenix essentially wear the exact same outfit (with different colored ties), so my blue suit is ready and raring for that. Cloud, Reno, and Phoenix can all wear the same boots, which is lovely

I'm wondering - for any of my cosplaying watchers, a question: How do you get all this to the convention?! I'd probably be flying (unless I can convince my roomies to come with me and drive us to...oh yeah, Minnesota - not gonna happen) and I'm not sure how precisely I'd get all these styled wigs on a plane. (Not to mention Cloud's sword and Reno's EMR...) Is there any trick to this? Tifa, Kyo, and Phoenix's wigs are probably the easiest to transport, as they won't need TOO much styling (though Phoenix's will need to be swept back), but Cloud and Reno are kinda big and spiky. Any suggestions? The con's in April or something, so I have lots of time, but I'm just wondering.

... I think that's all I have so far... but I'll keep everyone posted as more happens.
